In 2024, it was updated to contain information required by the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA). It includes Stevens’ standards of conduct prohibiting unlawful possession, use, or distribution of alcohol and drugs; applicable state and federal legal sanctions; University disciplinary measures for violations; health risks of substance abuse; and available counseling, treatment, and rehabilitation resources (see Appendix). Notifications were sent on the following dates (see Appendix): o 2025 Report – Distributed by Student Affairs on Sept. 29, 2025; communication from Takeem L. Dean, Ed.D., Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. o 2024 Report – Distributed by Campus Police on Oct. 1, 2024; communication from Tim Griffin, Chief of Police, regarding the prior year’s report release. o 2023 Report – Distributed by Campus Police on Sept. 29, 2023; communication from Tim Griffin, Chief of Police, regarding the report release. • Additional Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Notifications (see Appendix): Stevens also issues communications to faculty and staff to reinforce its commitment to maintaining a healthy, drug-free environment.
